I was born and raised in the small community of Jumbo, Alabama. I have a wonderful wife, Jennifer, who has supported me through the years and has helped to make our small business a reality. We have six children and two grandchildren. My family and I moved to the Mentone, AL area nine years ago so I could work with the local telephone company. March 2024, God had different plans for me. My telephone career ended, and I decided to take up a hobby of 13 years and make it my full-time profession. I believe God has a plan and path for all of us, and I have been blessed to create things for people to enjoy and use every day. I have been a self-taught woodworker for these past 13 years, making mostly things for my family and friends. I consider myself a mid-century organic artist. I let the piece of wood show me what it wants to become. I hope to bring joy to people who see my work, and that I can bring out the natural beauty within each piece.”
