​"The Joy of Art Journaling" is an immersive two-day experience where participants will explore the powerful intersection of journaling and mixed media art. This workshop focuses on expressive techniques like painting, layering, collage, and stamping to create art journals filled with personal reflection, creativity, and emotional exploration. Participants will leave with a unique, deeply personal journal and the tools to continue their creative practice at home.

Art journals
Watercolor and acrylic paints
Brushes, sponges, and paint palettes
Collage materials (magazines, newspapers, scrap paper)
Scissors, glue sticks, and tape
Stamps and ink pads
Blackout poetry materials (pages from books, newspapers)
Markers, colored pencils, and other mixed media tools
Items for Participants to bring (OPTIONAL):
Pictures
Special notes or cards
Printed out favorite quotes, verses or affirmation
