Delve into the ancient art of stone tool-making! Long ago, the earliest humans transformed simple pieces of stone into sophisticated tools that revolutionized their lives. Many people are familiar with stone artifacts such as arrowheads created by traditional cultures in North America and around the world. Uncover the secrets behind these ancient techniques and create your own stone projectile points, similar to those used by traditional cultures across North America and around the world.

Each student will have the opportunity to create several projectile points, and they will take home their finished pieces and the pressure flaker, as well as several additional flakes to complete on their own.
