Stone & Soil: Hypertufa Leaf Casting Workshop

Let’s put on some gloves and get our hands dirty! In this hands-on workshop, participants will create a one-of-a-kind hypertufa leaf casting while learning how this lightweight, durable material can add beauty and function to the landscape.
Using real leaves and a hypertufa mixture, you'll craft a decorative leaf casting that can be used as garden art, a bird bath, a water feature, a shallow planter, or another eye-catching landscape feature. Along the way, you'll discover design ideas and practical tips for incorporating hypertufa creations into your garden as planters, stepping stones, bird baths, and other landscape accents.

About the class: Learn the step-by-step process of mixing hypertufa, preparing a leaf mold, and creating your own leaf casting. Because your project will need time to cure, you'll take it home with care instructions, finishing tips, and creative ideas for making additional hypertufa projects on your own.

Fee: $40.00 -includes all supplies. Ages 14 to adult. Class space is limited.
