Pathway to Community
A project made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama

Little River Arts Council partnered with MERF (Mentone Educational Resources Foundation) on its "Pathway to Community" project on the organization's 1/4-mile walking trail on AL Hwy. 117 on the eastern edge of the town of Mentone. One aspect of the project was the creation of a fence with hundreds of pickets designed and painted by community members. The fence was installed in September 2020.
